02 silverado

[silverado 5.3]

just wanting to know what everyone thinks. it's fully bolted and internally worked over. i'm adding a frontmounted 76 mil. turbo. tranny is beefed. but there is ton more to do. all parts are acquired.

I saw a turbo 5.3 van on youtube blowing everything away...even a new Vette. IIRC, besides the turbo the motor was mostly stock. I say go for it.

well small steps on the truck, my little girl arrived 5 week early. but she is doing well. but the truck has made baby steps as well. new hot pipes are done, ceramic coated and re trial fitted. turbo is out getting reworked and balanced. next are cooler pipes and cooler mounts. oh and induction pipes. those are just getting powder-coated. they are almost welded up. gotta mount up e-fans and relays. new aluminum shroud is done. pictures to follow soon. the camara is full of baby pics now. :

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

Priorities change when becoming a parent, so slow progress on the vehicle is understandable.

03 5.3 should have 243 heads... put arp rodbolts in it, bigger injectors, LT and ory, tune and aim for a 200 shot and high elevens low twelves depending on stall, cam and gears. Plan on a new tranny
