since i plan on keeping this car...i think...ill make a project car thread for it :-X

i traded my 87 mustang for this. i had $1200 into my 87 and it cost me $100 to bring this home so, so far, i only have $1300 into it

i dont know what the @$#% im going to do with it...so i guess ill just drive it for now while the monte is hibernating....and then who knows???

but here it is in all of its 80's redneck glory ;D

this is it on the way home from derry NH

and this is after we got it home

and here are some pics that the previous owner sent me before i got it

if you're destined for redneck, the wheels are perfect. Along with the ... WTF are those? Gabriel Sky Jackers? Jesus dude, my Bronco doesn't have that much clearance between the tire and the fender.

Wait - nevermind. lol. I do dig the front end. Looks '82ish. It'll get there. Just get a diaper under it when you put it in Mama's garage, cuz ... well, that is a Chevy motor right?

I'm not opposed to the mutato... it's a largish V8 in a small car. Seems right somehow.

I'm with ya Beags, I always dug the three bar grille, 4 eyes, and cowl induction
            looking hood.

That is about the burliest looking front end ever.

              What tranny does it have?

All truck applications, meaning Ranger, were leaf sprung. It would not have the bosses for the trailing arms and it would be wider. All Fox Mustangs up to and including '85 used only the 7.5", even with the 5.0. My 7.5" in my 85, 5.0, 5 speed took quite a bit of punishment with out any complaints. The '86 5.0 was the first year for the 8.8" in the Mustang. Unless the rear axle was replaced with a 8.8 at some point, you have the 7.5". It should be strong enough to take anything that SBC under the hood can dish out ;D
