Make it run. Then drive it. Don't complicate things.

Whatever you do, don't make it an SS replica. It's cool as a regular Chevelle.

                    Re: ??? 70 chevelle???

Ok I think more what my question was whats a cool but different drive line to put in it. I already own big n small blocks with power adders. Speed is bad ass but I think this would a great cruiser. A big NO to the SS clones

Gigantic N/A big block. But on the mild side for cruising. Something in the mid to high 500's. Oh, stump pulling stroker Cadillac.

Stuff a stroked Pontiac in it. Everyone thinks you need a chevy to go fast, and everyone preaches stuff a chevy in it no matter what it is. Go the other way and drop in a 496ci Pontiac.

Or, just find an L92/4L80E, give it a mild cam, headers, and have a fun car that is ok on mileage.

How about a L6? Put together a "green" cruiser. Torquey cam, nice exhaust, MS EFI, overdrive 5-speed and piss off the Prius crowd with a 30mpg cruiser that can fit their car in the trunk.

It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

Good one. How about a Trailblazer 6 with a turbo Chad could fit his head into. LOL
