Wow... very neat Wagon. Always been a fan of wagons. At least this one wasnt buried in a leaking vault in Tulsa, OK for 50 years.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/07/au...es/07RUST.html From what I read so far it rolls and steers. He has not opened the doors yet.

          Re: spiff's new project

There's a red '58 Plymouth wagon by my place in PA sitting on the road. Also in very solid shape. Some one musta been fooling around with it at one time. It has cop car slotted wheels and drilled hub caps with some wider meats on it. I took a picture of it a while ago. I'll post it soon.

Had some trouble with my old laptop, out of memory, I'm borrowing a MAC from work...like it a lot!

              Stroker 440 for 500 cubes.

The seats are out getting new upholstery. I'm gonna leave the patina, but add this scoop to the hood, it's on a 57 two door, but you get the idea. what do you think?

How rare were those 2 door wagons? I don't think I've ever seen one.

                    wagon production numbers.

looks like 21,550 two door wagons.

Had a '59 Plymouth Savoy for a short time. Picked it up from a junk yard. Car was clean and complete. Six months later a guy made me an offer on it and it was gone. But I did keep the motor out of it. It was a Flat head six. Still have it.

More 2 doors than I woulda thunk - but kind of scarce by Detroit production numbers. Cool old cars.

There is no expiration date on it. Here in Cali, they'd have to take it. haha.
