we canot get the car to sit correctly , and since i "diamonded" the frame when i broke the rear , and the fact that it left fairly hard (ie really violantly) there may some twist with the frt frame horns.
as of this writing to get the rad support in, and get all the panels "fit" we have a 5/8 spacer below the left side of the rad support, and 1/16 on the right and the left side still sits lower.
we got everything lined up, but when you step back, you can see that is about 1inch lower on the left.
it has been on the frame rack here at work twice, but they seemed more concerned about other things plus they admit that the really are not good with pulling non- unit body stuff.

the cage was put in right after it was checked at work, and yes it is welded to the frame. plus the entire frame has been boxed( I sell a kit to do 64/67 a-bodies) after it was " checked" before and after the boxing.

eeck - so - effectively - it already has a "tube chassis" I was just joshin ya with that line....
That means it will be that much harder to "pull" right?
I'm sure a good experienced frame rack guy can make it happen. Sort of scary stuff for us mere mortals - but for the guys that have been doing it a long time - it's a walk in the park.... I hope!
