Hey Mike...congrats to at least one Econline arriving to Poland .I cant believe how they have damaged the hood that way..is it bolted off,or ripped?.The driveshaft im sure can be fixed in poland at a place where they have equipment and machines for that kind of work..its just a pipe with the most important parts attached in the ends.

You're the only guy I know with two 8 lug econolines pre emissions!

I'm not quite sure how you get this stuff approved by the better half... maybe I need lessons.

Nice score Mike. Hope you can get them to pay for the damages and get her cleaned up.

Mike, you seem to be taking the damages done very well. I'd want heads and blood for such a lack of care in moving someone else's property.

There are still those vintage of box vans operating around LA. Although, they are usually completely covered in graffiti.

What's the plan for this vehicle?

that's too bad about the damage.... bright side is they have to pay for the damage and it'll be better then new

Doing it all wrong since 1966

                          Here's a plan - full of bangshiftedbadderasserness.

At this point - depending on just how far Seth is into the paint work on titanic 1 - I might change your plan, and put the good parts into this - I will affectionately refer to as Titanic 2.

So - ship Titanic 2 to Dave's shop here in Michigan - have him install the engine he's already got there into Titanic 2, along with a done up AOD.

Depending on Seth's schedule, you could have him or Dave drive it to Dan Stoke's in NC while they're taking one of their trips to Maxton, that will give the new powertrain a good shake down / break in run - and it will be in a more temperate climate for the body / paint work - Dan has an easier work schedule than Seth.... so the paint work would likely happen faster???

From there - since it's already close to the coast - ship it to your home out of NC.

I'm sure good at spending other peoples time and money! ;D

I'm just starting to make progress on dividing the shop so can have a more-or-less spray booth, so this could happen. Give me a few months. My schedule now depends on when I need to provide care for my Mom.
