..... the screw holes in the metal dash are just worn out so I can't get them as tight as they need to be.....

try a piece of paperclip bent into a tight "U" shape and hung on the edge
of the hole, it takes up some slack and gives the screw something to bite
on. its worked countless times for me over the years anytime a sheetmetal
    hole gets a little sloppy.

you may even need 2 or 3 pieces but it works for me.

Janet's Dart found a new home....kind of a sad day here. Some folks we've known for 20 years bought it. They're serious Mopar people, so we know it will be well cared for.

40 years ago today, I met Janet and her Dart, when she drove my brother and his girlfriend (Janet's roommate) to the AHRA Winternationals, where I was racing my pickup truck, to watch. They broke up, but we hit it off....

That's kind of sad that you had the car you drove off married in all this time and now let it go . But I realize you can't keep everything .

I know this is weird but I'm sad to see it go! (I didn't have a horse in this race.....) I'm relieved that it'll have a good home.
