I had the same issue with the 454 in my camaro. The verdict is main bearing going south. I didn't spin it but I did have to get the crank turned. I strongly suggest getting it pulled and checked out. It only cost me 500. to get the bottom end rebuilt and assembled.I can do it myself but I had the shop put it together last time and it lasted 4 years of steady beatings and I can spend what free time I have with the family.
