  • '71 Duster Engine install pics

Drove it about 100 miles this weekend. Need to change pinion angle, wet sand and buff, install black side stripes, find grille trim pieces. Son's reaction and smiles was well worth three years of work. He is anxious to take it to the Mopar Show at the Battleship in Mobile in two weeks.

There's a show at the battleship? What day? I missed the one last year. I live just on the alabama side of the Florida state line.

Very awesome car, I hope to see it at the show :D

That is my first time doing it that way, but if you have ever put a set of headers on a small block in an A Body Mopar you would understand. This way was easier on the engine bay paint, us Mopar guys can't grab a can of flat black and touch up our engine bays like chevy guys ;D.

April 26th at the Battleship Park. Normally about 120 cars, some swap meet stuff and a few vendors.

That engine bay is shinier than most cars paint.

what kind of trans is that?

I saw her in person today at the battleship. The pictures do not do this car justice. She is beautiful. Very nice work Mopower. I would of stuck around to see if you were wandering around the crowd but I was feeling under the weather.

Quick question, what color red is that?

Thanks for the compliment. He actually won two trophies. Top 40 car,out of 140 entries, and Best "A" Body. The color is '01 Viper Red. It comes with a white base that really makes the red pop in the sun.
