It's been a while since I updated so ill skip ahead to paint. Got the car edged 2 weeks ago and painted the body on Saturday. This was my first ever paint job and did it in my garage at home.

WOW
no shortcuts here - painted the pin stripe! That's a 5 digit paint job at any shop these days.
There's always something new to learn.

Mustang has its new heart. I know it will piss off a few ford guys but you use what you have. Fits like a glove.

You know what we Chevy guys say when the Ford Faithful get pissy about this? Want to make a Ford go fast? Put a Chevy in it.

Powered by horses not ponies.
It's an fbody pan that I modified for my chevelle before you could get conversion pans. I'll try to get some pics up of it later today.

I had the 4.6 ready to go but the company who was doing the engine harness and computer closed shop so I decided to use the LS1 from my Chevelle.
The car is now on the road and I've done a few shake down runs with no major problems.
Here's the car as of last weekend.
