time for a update with the old girl, first up the motor, we are going for the LM7 5.3 Chev motor and box, I have someone up in the US now looking for a good one, next up brakes, I got given some GT3 porsche rotors some time back and with a bit of work they fitted, I had some RX7 4 pot brakes hanging around but they would only fit a 22mm wide disk and not the 33mm of the Porsche, so did some work and now they fit . once fitted I think they may be a little better than the drum barkes .

Ok next update, I have started to fit the brakes to the rotors and getting the backing plate sorted, next question, should I put two calipers on one side or just one and as you can see I have a set of 20' wheels and tyres but they are to big, shame I think that they do not look to bad, if anyone out there has some wheel adap 5X5" to chevy 8 stud that they do not want PM me

Ok it has been some time but I have been it the garage work again, and I have been taking photos, now that I have calipers wide enough to fit over the rotors I need to make the adperter plates. first up get some 20mm ali plate onto the Lathe and put a hole in it

then its over to the mill and start taking the metal off

OK now most of the metal has been removed it is time to start drilling holes. first up spot though for the stub axle

once that is done it is time to spot though for the brake cal

once all the holes have been drilled its time to tap and fit the recoil

                  check that it all fits

and you just put all together

Is it true that lathes and mills run the opposite direction down there?

That black and silver with the black spokes is BEAUTIFUL! Love seeing the custom machined brake caliper brackets.

The wheels I'm going for will be something off a BMW m5 , good strong wheel that can take the size of the Jaguar, here is sort of what I'm thinking
