I think it's the same height - I closed the hood with the fuel injection setting on the manifold and it didn't hit; nor did it hit when I pushed down in the center of the scoop; so I think it's good-to-go (yeah, highly scientific method, eh?)

It is amazing what happens when you remove about 8lbs of lead from your right foot. Sounds about right for driving it like you stole it.

I've been driving the wheels off the Corvette - so no worries about that, it's getting something like 7 mpg so it does like its gas
