  • Project "Not Rod" aka '66 F-85 crew cab daily driver

Bought a '66 Olds F-85 crew cab (yes, I stole that idea) 330/Jetaway, bone stock back in '08....

Swapped on some 15x7 wheels & 235/60/15 tires all around in '09....

    Went black in 2011...

Drove the wee out of it for a couple of years....

2012 brought front disc brakes, all new stainless lines, sc & c stage 2 plus front suspension with spc springs.....

    More to come.

330 awesome if it's still an actual 330 (lots of them where removed) it has a forged crank from the factory all other small olds only had cast cranks

Just out of curiousity - what sort of MPG do you get with this thing? I'd love to rock a simple classic car daily but here in the rust belt it would be murder on the poor car.

That's pretty darned good considering the weight of the car, heck, allot of new pickups struggle to get that kind of MPG.

It's kind of a dog as a stoplight warrior, but cruises easy on the highway.

Finally got the 15x8 steels & 255/60' s on the back.
