I used Dynamat , but what ever you choose it's a very good idea . Makes a big difference . One question , don't you think you installed it a bit to soon ? . It could get damaged . There will be a lot of traffic in and out , custom dash install , stereo , body work dust , etc .. .Comment

yeah kinda soon. but I'm still waiting for lot of other parts to arrive so I just have to get something done while waiting ;) I'll cover the interior with some cardboard n stuff so it won't get damagedComment

yesterday I started with bending some cunifer brake lines

tested my flaring tool and guess I bought cheap stuff or my skills just s*cks

and finally I ordered my set of wheels

Showwheels Streeter 20x8.5 20x10 custom black and polished lips
as soon the wheels arrive I finally can start with all body work..Comment

I am impressed. I have had 14 of the 1970-1972 Monte's over the years and before they started getting expensive, would have took a pass on anything that had rust in the frame. Definately subscribing to the thread. Why dance when you can rock and roll?Comment

I've done that to tubing with cheap flaring tools - my dad's old junk didn't have the inserts for a double flair, but it would single pretty good. Do y'all have parts stores that rent tools? It might be worth checking into.Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.Comment

If you plan to ever take it to the track, don't forget to leave enough headroom for a helmet!Originally posted by CruizinKev View Postthx guys!

Learned this lesson the hard way, AFTER fabricating the FIRST set of brackets.

How many of us have messed with getting the perfect double flare then realized you forgot the damn nut...If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark DonohueComment
