Found a couple more pics my wife took in Morro Bay. I think the car looks pretty good, but we're still looking to paint it before year end. We'll see.

All white would look sharp....Love keystones. If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark DonohueComment

I like the two tone for some odd reason. My Centurion is due for paint, actually it's been due for a couple years. It's last paint job was in 2000 for $350 by Maco, lol. It was pretty good for what it was!
Here is what the general body shape looks like in all blue with a little metal flake. I like the pinstripe from the hood to the rear bumper, but don't think it'll contour that well on the Pontiac.

It would probably look ok painted white, but I just don't like white cars too much. Still looking to do the factory turquoise metallic.
The Buick looks great! I don't have any plans for pinstriping at this time, plus I think I'm going to remove the side trim thats on there for a cleaner lookComment

A neighbor of mine has a '66 Caprice coupe, took his car to the body shop 10 years ago. He had a bit of legal trouble and money issues, but couldn't get the car back. They sanded it down to bare metal, but never put any primer on it, then pushed it out back to let it sit. He finally got it back a couple months ago. It now has surface rust over the entire car, but he got it running and driving again.Originally posted by Beagle View Postthat is assuming good behavior. All of these are reasons I started doing my own paint and body. That, and as a kid we couldn't afford store-bought paint. My advise - buy a decent spray gun and screw up a couple of cars you don't care about 'till you get the hang of it. If nothing else you'll learn patience.

In case anyone has forgotten, lets have a look at the offending bondo chunk....
it goes all the way over to the door.
Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm curious about what's under that. I regret not sticking a screwdriver in there and prying it out before dropping the car off. I may never know now.Comment
