That looks fantastic, especially with the top down. You hit a home run with it!Leave a comment:

fantastic! That car sure has gone through a tremendous transformation - well done! Great color choice. The black top rules too.Leave a comment:

Thanks, we really love the color. I'll have to research the side marker problem. Maybe Firebird markers will work. Some kind of small relector that doesn't look like it came off of a trailer will probably be ok. I think for Christmas it'll get some sort of stereo setup, w/ satellite and I phone hookup. No tunes currently.Leave a comment:

Looks great! I wonder if the Firebird side markers might cover the holes. IIRC, they just mounted flat on the body panel.

Nice color for a convert. Looks good with the black grille too.

Ok, paintwork completed! Piicked it up Saturday morning and I have to say I'm really pleased with it. I spent a little time tidying up some details Sunday morning and we took it to the local cruise night. I still need to find some side marker lights since I had the body shop remove the side trim strip and fill the holes. Has a much cleaner look. I replaced the old hood tach with the correct Pontiac style for 69, the old hood tach was the wrong shape. Now, of course, the new paint makes the old bumpers look bad. Lol! MrsRocketscience is very happy with it.Leave a comment:
