I keep having visions of getting photos of your beautiful Jav next to Attilla.

Glad to hear of the progress. If you tie the kids to the front with rope they can pull and you can steer!

                Re: mike343sharpstick's 69 Javelin project

Well, got the parts home safely :o
The bodyshop is about one hour away, so I hooked up my enclosed cargo trailer with a role of tape and a pile of blankets.
Watching the trailer bounce over potholes was, to say the least, a little nerve wracking.
Another big part of this project is done! I can hardly believe it. ;D
I got some more parts from Summit so I can get the battery mounted in the trunk. I may actually get this thing fired in the next 2 or 3 weeks. ;)

                          Mike,
Great job on the Javelin. We are having our annual AMC show at the NHRA Museum at Pamona May 30th, feel free to stop by, we usually have around 50 cars. Oh, I just noticed you are in Wisconsin, then how about joining us at the AMO International in Illinois?

I will be bringing my AMX/3 replica that was in last years July issue of Hot Rod.

I am glad that David Freiburg is back at Hot Rod, the F-Bomb was THE BOMB in the Fast and Furious. The Big Red Camaro also looked cool. Dave Ward who is the Crew Chief for the Big Red Camaro also built my AMX/3 chassis, super guy.

Hey David, what happened to that red, white and blue Javelin I sold you with the roll cage? I didn't see it in F&F, lol.

Tom, I may seriously do the AMO show. When I first got the car and started the resto I went to the Kenosha show, that was great.

Kieth, my little guy always wants to help, it's really cool!
He comes out with his little toy tools excited as can be. Ya' gotta watch him close when he grabs his little hammer :o :D
I am seriously looking forward to putting the family in the car and taking a drive!

I spent a ton of time yesterday designing and building a battery mounting bracket for the trunk. 5 hours later it's done :, this took waaaaay longer than I expected, (but what doesn't) ;) It looks like something that should have taken less than an hour.
What matters is that there is another thing off the checklist, on to the next thing. We are planning on hanging the painted parts on the car this weekend, that will be huge, can't wait.
