Bout every two months I blow them out. I have them up on the desk top, not down on the floor. The sides are off so I can see when the dust starts to build up, then they go out to the shop, and get the compressed air treatment.... from a good distance so as not to harm anything with the air. Dont want that dust floating around in the house, so it all goes outside.

I don't want to turn this awesome Mustang resurrection into a health tip thread... but I had heard for years about eating natural, local, raw (un-filtered, un-heated) Honey to ease allergies. I didn't pay attention, because I didn't have any allergies. Then I turned 30 - and I had allergies every April or so. Since I started eating local honey, the allergies have been gone or extremely mild.

Much like drinking poison oak tea to develop resistance, which I could not do... The thought of tea's exit does not excite me..

Well tetanus is a health issue, most of my cars can give it to you. Been trying to find someone local with honey, no such luck yet. I am feeling ok today, might go out and actually do something in the shop. Thinking about wearing my respirator out there because I am cleaning and rearranging things. Still need to finish the GTO, but the Mustang is the prime object this winter. Its interesting shifting gears from A body GM to Mustang.

I will second the local honey thing - I can get you some local from down here, but that probably isn't local enough to have the desired effects.
How are you doing on the wood gathering? Are your chimney's clean?
It seems as if we may be looking at an early entry to winter - the skies have already changed. I have a pile of wood - but still have some cleaning and splitting/stacking to do, this year I have some help, our 19y/o nephew is staying with us a while before he ships off to the Army. There's always something new to learn.

Aw jeez John, did you have to actually SAY it?
I've been eyeing the skies the last few days and I have to agree, reluctantly.
Everyone local seems to be expecting a real winter this year. Lots of snow and cold is the common theme.Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

Have three face for the shop, most of it is green so it looks like the salamander will get the nod most of the time. The house still has about ten face sitting here, need more and I have four people willing to bring it. I think another ten to fifteen will do the job, Sept to Dec are always low funds because I am working on the firewood thing. We've had the fire going since Sunday night, its perfect sandblasting weather right now. Only problem is it has been raining all week.
The GTO is going in the big shed with the boats this winter, its done enough that it can take some time off. Will dig it out in the spring and finish it off. The LeMans is next to the Mustang, and both of them are on dollies, so they are easy to move around the shop for different things. Plans are to do both of them this winter, since the LeMans is low buck and the Mustang just needs done. Looks like the welder will get a workout this winter. Good thing I have all my cold weather gear ready to go, it just feels like this one will be nasty with lots of snow. Hopefully it holds off until December or late November at least. Imagine how much sandblasting I could get done by then!
*edit* Chimney is always clean the wife is a firefighter, it would be rather embarrassing to have our house burn down, would it not?Last edited by Thumpin455; September 20, 2012, 01:13 PM.

Add a little lemon for absorption. Works miracles.Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."

Awesome, havent even started working on the car again yet and we already have multiple cold, flu and allergy remedies!
Thanks to Arild I have a direction for this thing. Maybe not the 20" wheels, but some 17" would work. The smooth look of this one does it for me. So it will be green instead of purple at this point. HOK Organic Green is what I would like, or the new Camaro metallic green...
Finally a plan! A direction. Some incredible inspiration. Arild you da man!

That is a stunning stance - not sure I like the two tone.... I'm guessing that thing must be on air ride to sit that low.
Green with gold accents is a classic combination, especially if you could find some vintage gold center slots like mine - but without the air leaks! There's always something new to learn.
