It's making me want to be a young man who could jungle gymn into that mother every day.

Did you guys pull bracing from the door or is it already that way? That would make the window bits way too easy to get to.

Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

We are hoping for lots of fun. I just wish the other things in life could slow down to allow faster progress.

No we gutted the inside of the door.
This is the only picture I have of any of the door prior to it meeting the plasma cutter.

Made a little progress this weekend:
Fit the X bar for the passenger side.

Got the mounting points welded on the driver front corner

          action shot

          finished small ends of mount

Got a WTF? from the UPS man today when he delivered this to me at school.

Seat mount and cross bars for the rear legs of the cage.

Took a DA to the body today to prep for paint.

Found some bondo in the passenger quarter and the clear coat blend that is on the passenger door came off in chunks. Had to stop, needed more sandpaper.

New hand control came in for the Tig Welder so we can get back at the cage this week.

"Once Bitten" Would be cool 2

worked on bushing removal today, found heat to be the most effective

Tore apart, cleaned, and painted rear calipers (will install rebuild kit after paint is dry)

                        Is this low enough?

                              Looks real good!

Wondering... Why vertical bars, why not parrallel?
Reason I'm asking s if you hiy something vertical bars will help stop the car.. While parrallel bars would allow u to slide off?

not sure I understand, the vertical bars are inside the parallel bars
will look something like this when done
