Nice truck I guess you won't need that welder as much now.

Just got caught up on this thread. I kind of lost track of your project (s) . As someone that has a soft spot for s-10's and the like with 90 degree motors ( V6 and 8 ) Your packing those things in like firewood. Keep it fun. I'm thinking on putting a 350 in the little ladys Bravada if she leaves town for a week with her sister and mom. I'll plum it all into the factory single exhaust to keep it quiet.

Good luck with the project. Maybe see it on the Tour or in Sioux City!

Sean spent a couple of days fixing small issues with his latest acquisition; plugs, wires, cap, rotor, thermostat, battery, door mirrors, and swapped the seat in from the other black parts truck... He's letting dad take it to work tomorrow, so he can take dad's Silverado to the hub store for training so it gets a good highway run on it... he wants to keep this truck a driver for now and make it into another project when High expectations gets up and running. this has enough project creep that it may take a while... keeping the Xtreme in running form is a definite must

Project got hijacked again... drove to Tammy's Aunt Barb's visitation the other night and noticed a noise under the front end while cornering... Front hubs shot... left one had a half inch of play at the top of the tire! Sean and I changed the both of them out... Sean also divorced the trans from the T-case on the project truck this week... next will be getting the TH 350 out to make way for the TH 700 swap!

I'm still working on it, the parts collecting is taking a lot of time though as you can see why...

Pieces of the puzzle are arriving... Sean ordered new torsion bars (ZR2 highest capacity available) he found them new, in box at 2 separate carolina dealerships(1 north, 1 south) and a new passenger side front differential mount... he will have to start using the 20 ton shop press to replace all of the bushings with poly..unable to get any aftermarket support, so, using the locator to get HD factory parts...planning on boxing factory frame... 10 Gauge, 1/8th, or 3/16th's?
opinions? gotta get some 1" DOM tubing as well to reinforce the lift kit drop brackets... looking into some xmas presents for Sean as far a fabrication tools go...
