The wagon is cool! On your Fairlane, think about ditching the stock struts with these http://www.streetortrack.com/Street-...-pr-16135.html
And the spring perches with these http://www.streetortrack.com/Roller-...-pr-19632.html
The struts will make setting caster a lot easier but even more important it'll keep the car straight under braking. The roller perches make for a smoother acting suspension and last a lot longer then the rubber version.
That AOD has a pretty tall 1st gear, 2.4:1 iirc. The 5.0 guys would run a 4:11 gear to run about equal to the T5 guys with 3.27 gear. The T5 has a 3.35 1st gear that makes a big difference. even with a tall rear gear.Last edited by Huskinhano; August 19, 2013, 07:08 PM.TomOverdrive is overrated

The six will get you plenty of tickets. What the hell is a 3.3? Oh... ya, a 200cid. 7 main bearings of fun! They put a "big block" 250 c.i.d. (what is that, like a 4.1?) in some of the Granada's. Hint. haha. I'm not sure it would fit under the hood, deck height was taller. The K-frame is different on an inline six cylinder car from what I'm told, so a 302 isn't a "drop in." Nice rides either way, watch that "getting parts for it" six cylinder sickness, it comes on fast.
Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.Comment
