    • the guys at 121 are very accomplished, I think the real value they added was being able to just look at the car and tell where there was structural weakness that would lead to problems down the road if not fixed. I like the 818s

Breathtakingly fast and handles like it's on rails. I'm sure I'll be involved and post the solutions

          • Got some shots of the weatherstripping on the door today. Also "Daniel the Pinstriper," put the finishing touches with a really elegant and simple pinstripe that matched the interior color. My wife came out to help with color choice. Daniel was spot on as always and recommended the simple design. He even signed the work. I am pretty stoked about it.

              • So we undercoated the Fenders since I plan to drive the shit out of the car. We still have to finish the bolts for the front fender mount and install the window whiskers. Here are some glamour shots.

                          • I love the simple of it..
My 57 Sedan Delivery has belaire fin top trim (long ones) and a simple spear mid door and back. People tell me it would look bitchin with the inserted side trim.. No, I love the simple clean look just like the pinstripe on this!

                            • I agree, being a novice I had some radical ideas. A couple of experienced guys sat me down and explained how simple was the best.

                              • One of the final tasks for the car is to finish the window swipe seals on the door tops. The door top was structurally weak from the casting/molding so we reinforced it. When we did that the supplied strips did not work. The guys at 121 Rod & Restoration have fabricated a better solution that reinforces the door top and allows adjustment of the end result to strengthen the area.
