        • Some closer to current engine compartment pictures with my new Mezier electric water pump Yes the wiring is still a mess. I want to make it run before I put it all up and nice.

            • Been having issues with My transmission sitting to high in the car. I am not sure if the K member moved it down or what. So I ordered this crossmember to see if maybe my OEM one is bent. I got it from a buddy. Not the issue though Click image for larger version

              • Just a thought - are you running convertible motor mounts? I've been told they're lower and they were recommended for my 5.8 swap given the extra engine height. "Course, mine IS a convertible so I already had 'em. No clue why they'd lower the engine in a convert. But that would drop the engine/trans assembly so I guess it might do what you're experiencing.

                • I am running the energy suspension urethane motor mounts. They are supposed to be convertible height, but I am using the full set of them. I am going to go get an oem style transmission mount. I was looking at BBR's transmission mount and it is lower from the transmission case to the cross member than mine. I don't need alot just a bit of room. Being that I swapped the k member and went to an AOD also the Dart block and all forged internals are heavier than the stock stuff I was running means I really have had some issues trying to figure out where to start troubleshooting this.

                  • It finally runs!!!!! I have been poking at it for months and finally got it to a point I felt comfortable trying to start it. After a few transmission fluid misshaps and I had to get the FAST dual sync distributor straightened out it will start and idle.
