I want a sbc powered dualie with a small blower for the low end grunt needed to haul heavy cars over mountains here..
Everybody seems to think it will be a waste..
SBC, smallish blower and a good carb with a strong turbo 400/475 will make a nice cruising trailer puller.
F course the maniac in me would love a BBC blown and fast too but not in a dualie crew cab..

Blowers are pretty easy on engines, if you set it up right. It's nothing like nitrous or high rpm.

That looks like a "drive over my crankshaft" accessory

I don't care about shiny...it's the things that the flanges fit that interest me

Data data data! 3.89 are good gears, so good I put them in the Skylark You're running a taller tire and more rpm than I am though. I geared my car to cap out around 118mph, I just need to find a few more horsepowers to make that happen

    that's neat! thanks.

We can see how the trap speed levels off with the 4.11 gears...but it keeps climbing with the 3.70s, looks like 3.89 is the gear it really wanted all along. Which I knew, I just never got around to buying them!

neat! now, you need to make different color dots for what gears were in the car. That will be an interesting picture

also, you can leave off the really slow runs, so we have better resolution at the part that counts
