What's up with the hood seal? New rule? What's the point?

not a rule- optional sub-category. Fastest without opening the engine (can remove valve covers, thats all), and fastest without opening the hood.

Braub announced that Jim got the blower off & fixed without breaking the hood seal. Is that true?

Jim had trouble yesterday. Blower locked up on the drive to Indy. They got it fixed.... somehow. Interested to hear that story. Said they got to Indy and got an hour of sleep.
