I wonder if putting a low 3, high 2 gear. Would help mpg?

I put a GV in it several years ago, it has 3.89 gears that drop to about 3.0 when I push the magic button.

What rpm does it run on the highway? Changing gears for the ride might help mpg

That I can drive the car out to George Ray's next week, bolt the blower back on, and race at Brian's thing. Then perhaps pull the blower back off for the drive home.

Just to see how different it is.I've already made several long drives with the blower. It gets 10 mpg, and things wear out.

I'm driving my car around the east, today was in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and now in New Jersey. It seems to be doing OK. Ran 10.12 yesterday, and 10.33 today with a little wheel spin.

I just was too burned out on it from all the work I did on it last year building the car...I never got back into it like I needed, to get all the things finished that need to be finished. There's always next year, for it
