Jim if you're looking to upgrade the drums on the rear as well and your 9" is a small bearing there is a cool kit that just came to the market. Opentracker racing sells a 11"x2.25" complete kit, both sides everything brand new, assembled ready to bolt on for $389.

Rolled the car off the trailer today, and went for a short test drive. Second gear works under normal driving conditions. I guess I'll put off fixing it, until I plan to go racing again or I have some free time
