      Escaped on a technicality.

      • An advantage to LSR - more time to look at the gages after you're done shifting (though I still sometimes for get to look). A camera mount pointed at the gages would be a good thing......

        • I usually forget to turn on the camera...or it's too blurry to see anything useful.

          • This sounds like a job for DAQ! Data Acquisitions System at your service... but then again that would clutter your engine bay with those pesky non-period correct sensors.

            • This one relies on crappy 54 year old analog acquisition and logging. My brain.

If you are getting over 10 psi of boost, personally I would have head studs and MLS gaskets. Bolts will let the head lift off the deck under higher boost. I would not want to fire slot those aluminum heads from the gaskets fire ring failing between the cylinders.

                    • You could use a Super 8 home movie camera to record the gauges which would be period correct.

True camera stores still develop actual film.
