            stock tubs. Will add width outside the quarters....but the tires should be about even with the sides of the car. This is a crude race car, not a narrowed rearend high dollar rig.

                    • what gauge steel did you use in the floors and - how did you end up forming the frame rail "filler" pieces?

                      • 20 gauge for the floor panels and rails. It took me about 10 minutes per side to bend up the rails...used the 3/4 x 3" x 12" press plates off my press, the vise, some clamps, body hammer, and the floor. Total improvisation.

                          He is a tall lanky guy. If he could fold himself in half, he could sleep back there no problem. But, as nice and near flat as that floor is, Jim could leave out the passenger seat and have a nice bed on that side.
