  • I haven't seen any bodywork you've done so far on any of your cars sub-par so I think we're in good hands here. Knock em dead, dead nuts perfect.

          Escaped on a technicality.

          • I wonder what the wheel well would look like if the top of the two arcs were connected with an arc. I am normally function over form so i will say, more medial removal = less weight.

                • plan is to paint the inside red oxide, and then weld in the cage, which will be painted black.

I like this idea, both for the weight removal and for the smoother flow of lines in the rear wheel wells. Almost think you should take the radius all the way up to the body line from the existing opening.

Then again the look is pretty brutal in it's own way, much like how the radius rear wheels on 55-56 shoeboxes tend to slice right through the trim without removing it.

                    • The idea is that it was cut as needed to clear the tires, without thought to how it looks. Form follows function

How about making it look a little like a 57 chevy rear wheelwell.. (yep, I'm biased )

I get this feeling it will be pulling wheelies and burning rubber before the wheel wells get touched again.

Considering metal work is done on the wheelwells.
