        • At first the look of those rear wheel wells rubbed me the wrong way but I think they're starting to grow on me .

              • So does my son Gary.

I have a tactical problem with most of the colors....with Nassau Blue or Roman Red I can get away with painting the insides, door jambs, dash, etc the same color as the outside, which makes life easier for me.

                • Whatever you decide I'm sure will look great - there sure are a lot of advantages to sticking with non metallic color for those of us that don't spray several cars a week. It's amazing how satisfying that first coat of primer is! Finally it's all one color! nice work.

...and whatever color you pick will look good, I'm sure.

                    • I really like the Nassau Blue or the Twilight Blue. You never see those colors. With the silver lettering it would look great.

                      • Finished sanding with the long board, and shoot another coat of primer. No picture because it looks the same. Doing robots for a few days now.

I had the same feeling, but in primer it ain't half bad... I like the roman red, possibly with a white top like the 55?

                          • I heavily favor dark green colors so my vote is for the Laurel Green Poly. However the Corona Cream would be cool with the rest of the car's "business like" theme.

                            • I was just thinking... if you really wanted it to be that metallic color, but your skills with the paint gun aren't up to the task - ask for help. Let someone else spray it.

                              - or is having the color you prefer less important than the DIY aspect of the project? Or is it that you would have to pay someone to spray it, and that isn't in the budget?

                              • It's more the logistics of it...but I have considered doing that. Although I'm not as motivated to paint it the "right" color, as "a" color.
