Chassis stripped, cab stripped and just sitting on new chassis to get idea of what I have to do. That sucker is LONG. I'm thinking 60's sleeper also. You can see the 50 chevy mounted on the chassis in one of the pics.

Body Drop? or some Massive Rolling stock would be in order I'm guessing... Crew cab with a set of stacks and single or bunk and a half sleeper would be proportionally correct! I'm really liking it! Old style flatbed with The old beerwagon style stakes and chains to complete the look....

It will go down at least 7", and extended cab with sleeper(maybe) and you hit it right on with the bed. The engine will be mounted midship under the sleeper.

The econoline and the 49 Austin, and the 51 chevy business coupe(both former gassers) are on the back burner now. I'm rebuilding PG's blown blower engine, and rebuilding drivetrain in my 69SS 396 4 speed nova. I MUST BE CRAZY.

I completely agree with you. It was like going from a 375 horse 396 to a 295 horse 350. It WILL be back and MORE horsepower. It will have overdrive too.
