Re: When I was 14
My bug consists of a 2X3 tube chassis and 14pt. cage built by Fred's Chassis in Ontario Canada. After that was done my Father and I built everything else. It has a Harshaw Racing (See Tanner 9sec6spd PGD) 383 SBC pump gas motor with AFR heads, and some other stuff (too much to mention) Brian builds a hell of a motor. Tires are 31x16.5-15 et streets and skinnys up front mounted on Weld Drag lites. Trans is a 700-r4 with a 2200 stall converter with lock-up. Rear is a ford 9" with 28 spline auburn pro series posi and a strange 4.57 gear set. Rear susp is Bears Performance ladder bar set-up. Front susp consists of homemade upper and lower control arms based on a Mustang II susp. Motor is held in with motor plates 1/4 alu. front 1/8 Mild steel between the motor and trans and a solid trans crossmember.

Re: When I was 14
Na...from Solidworks 2005...did that a while ago now. It was pretty cool I was able to simulate the angle change on the spindle as the system moved up and down. I adjusted lengths and pivot points to get excatly what I wanted.
The car runs consistant 10.80's at 129mph.

Re: When I was 14
I drove that car everywhere. What was really cool is that my Dad actually kicked his Corvette out of the garage to fit my baja in. He may have not wanted the neighbors to see it though.
sad thing...all I have left are the Jackman rims :'(
