Yes they do. They just put in a new trans with a brake, and I think run it every other week at Sacramento Raceway.

Back near my home town (Angels Camp, Ca) Calaveras High School Auto Shop built there own drag car out of a Camaro similar to this. Even had a feature article in Hot Rod Magazine,

Self control is a fairly new concept for me. I don't LIKE it, but I use it - at least sometimes. If I had more of it, the F150 would be done and sold.

I got some rat poison pellets to put in the car while it's sitting in the barn....

no progress on anything this week, I'm recovering from my trip. I don't have as much energy as I used to. Although I did fix the shifter cable on my old Schwinn yesterday and went for a ride.

Dan, you have an I6 and Buick V8 currently. I think you should round it out with a Pontiac 1/2 V8 4cyl and a V6 of some sort (I'd suggest and L32 based 3800)

The older 4 cyl from the 60s is 2/3 of a 6, but the 2.5 is a different design.

Just curious. Is the 4 banger 2/3 of my inline six? Kinda looks like it. Now I'm thinking of running a 4 - make me stop!!!!

I think it's in bad shape....lotsa signs that it was on it's last legs. It does turn, though.
