No kidding! I warmed the car up this morning for about five minutes, and was impressed the inside of the car was actually warm in that time. Temp gauge was a bit under the 160*F mark and plenty of warm air coming out the vents. I was estatic :D
hmm. I was looking for a comparison picture on Bing and my "th400 Buick" image query brought up a picture of Randal's motorsiccle from Carcraft. Pffft.
It is tall. Guess I'll need a bigger hammer.
Thanks Jim, Sorry for jacking your thread Randal. Carry on.
Eyeballing the picture Squirrel posted, I think it would clear. There is a fair amount of room immedately behind the engine. If it's a 460 install, I guess it'd just depend on the engine set back.
It'd be worth a try. I found a '74 Pontiac Phoenix that got me curious. Body is like your Buick. That and with you paying all that attention to the OHC, I didn't want your car to get jealous from no attention and do something like spit out a cam. :P
I went out and warmed up the Skylark to get it out of it's ice prison, and when I went to move it, I found the brake pedal went right to the floor > Couple more checks and it wouldn't build pressure. Popping the hood and checking the master cylinder, and the front resevoir is dry > Snow is melting all around it, so I can't tell if there is brake fluid on the ground or which wheel it is > Maybe tomorrow I'll see about looking into it.
Yeah, I cleared about 18 inches of snow off the car before I started it, weather forecasts call for 30% chance of snow tomorrow, but it likely won't be much if it does.
