Found the limit on the factory center bearing caps, from the looks of the teeth off the pinion the caps failed first.

Sticking with the 9" then huh?
Good, I never broke one on my Stangs,
I never tried using a factory pig though.

If you got a Torqueflite in there I guess you know what you need to do next. That's why I took out the 8 3/4 and put in a Dana in the Coronet. That truck probably weighs about 4,000 lbs huh?
