Re: Viper V10 in a Mustang
Finally, going to be back on the road. All the machine work got completed for the Cobra's motor and it's going back together. Nothing too radically different.
- Block was taken .020 over
- Wiseco forged pistons, Plasma-moly file fit rings.
- stock rods had the wrist pin holes machined to accept bushings to allow full floating pins
- Comp Cams cam shaft
- Stock crank was polished
Me and my motor man, Tom will be getting it all thrown back together and the motor SHOULD be back in the car this week. As soon as it fires and idles it will be heading to Omaha for a break in tune. Car must be at Hot Rod Power Tour starting June 5th so that's the goal!
Filing 20 rings....not a good time
