Re: 67 Fairlane Sedan project begins!

OK SO_Another month slides by, scott (rebeldriver) is out cruising all over California in his cool old Impala, Randall (silverbuick) is circumnavigating north and south America or some such, and what the hell is getting done around here?
what indeed, you may ask (or you may not give a rats a$$, which I completely understand-sometimes I don't either!!)

Anyway, we now have a black dash with trim and switches reinstalled, and a black stg column!! yaaaay something got done!

Progress is a wonderful thing - no matter how small. Nicely done!
There's always something new to learn.

Does your boss know you're using company shirts for painting parts?

Way to go. You may have it running before winter.

yes they are-and-one fine day, in the distant future, they will once again spillout some cold air. Vintage A/C is a good thing!

I swear by the Vintage AC, especially last weekend when it was 105. Even better for you with the factory vents. I have the cheapy ones that came with it and they are marginal in the ascetics dept.

and the left side trim and most of the right side trim makes it back onto the body!!
still need 3 retainers for one piece of the right side trim, on order now.
                    trunk is done as well.

Sounds like you're nearly done finding and ordering all the darn little clips, clamps, screws, and misc. doodads. :D
                              I bet I spent almost $250 on stuff like that :o ??? :P
