not very much-got the old short block apart and confirmed the rods/crank/block are all nice, got a load of arp bolts in from someones dead project, scored an intake for a good deal, it is due here any minute, (fortunately) work has been so damn busy i havent had much time for it. Need to get one set of used pistons to the shop to get em checked, that's what's next...maybe tomorrow.

OK we are off to the bodyshop monday---see the new hood pins? see how nicely the hood fits now, even lines all around, etc etc-man what a project, I hate bodywork. Which is why, I am paying someone else to do the bulk of it, of course. Just didn't trust them to fit the hood as well as I wanted it. next up for me, some engine work!!

Wow....I hope I can get my hood that straight after the engine goes in.

                  Good Work.

Looking good! Hope you have a good body man who doesn't drag his feet, I heard so many horror stories. The body man came to my house to do my Roadrunner, he did the actual bodywork and I was the gofer, monkey, clean-up, grinder, helper. 2 months start to finish and we painted it in a new booth..

                          the hood looks killer!

Send me a PM with the FE engine parts you are looking for - in a quest to get numbers matching stuff for my '69, I have several spares I'm planning on selling at some point, and I still have one more engine to pick up and sort out.

forged pistons are on my short list, the set I have are questionable, at the machine shop now. I also have not yet had my block/crank/rods analyzed as yet, since I have been busy workin to pay for all this stuff! I am ASSUMING (we all know how dangerous that can be) they are all good, but won't know for sure till someone with a lot more knowledge than me checks them out-maybe next week. it's only tuesday and I can already see this week is shot. however, the car IS AT THE BODYSHOP!!

Roger that - check in with me once you know what you need - also check the FE Forum for sale section...

I have a barely used set of TRW forged pistons 428 +.030" a few sets of rods and at least one good stock 428 crank.

Are you going with a stroker?
