Love the Mopar A-bodies 0f '67-'76. Simple, easy to work on and upgrade, and they are the most plentiful...oddly enough, with this vintage Mopar the most expensive models and the cheapest models seem to be less prone to being rotten- or at least degrade the slowest. Bought my '69 2-dr a few years ago from a friend of a friend for $150, 87k on the odometer. Like WWII and Korean war vets the soldiers are still out there, but there are fewer everyday!

The car has a edelbrock carb now. I have ordered and received light weight hood springs, so no more prop rod. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the front seat to the upholstery shop.

Put the light weight hinges on today. Was happy that I could get them tensioned without having to remove the fenders.

The seat is at the upholstery shop, should be done next week. Maximum of $450 to get the seat recovered. I had to supply the fabric, they provided the vinyl.

Changed the engine oil and greased the front end in preparation for summer, if we have one this year :

Going to take some of my spare sure-grip parts to work tomorrow to put in the dip tank and clean up.

Got the 3.91 gears in today. Went for a quick rip and didn't hear any howling noises! Find out for sure when the snow melts.

cool ride. i got rid of my 67 dart 2 dr sedan in 09. it was a project but it was looking pretty tuff. mini tub, dana 28x11.50s skinnys up front on super tricks. 400 and 727 for mock up 2" tti headers, manual steering, spool mount k frame, aar 6 pac hood glass fenders, aar bumper too. 67 barracuda seats. i put a whole rust free front clip on, the floor was non existent in the back, i couldnt believe how many people that turned off when i wanted to sell it. the rest fo the car was solid. steel fenders doors, and the quarters werent very bad. only a litle bit in the back. only guy willing to pay, parted it out.
i still have my 69 dart hardtop with a 431 727 and dana, and my 74 duster with a 400 t56 6 speed and for 8.8". a bodies are my favorite cars.

A housing that I cleaned and powder coated. It turned out very well. I didn't do that to the one that i put in the car unfortunatly.
