Re: Engine removal and detailing in the Bug

That's really funny, I thought i was the only one who used skate boards as shop equipment. My buddy mike found me using my old cab board to haul a trany out and freaked. He sold it on ebay for $180.00 and bought me a transmission jack. Who knew?

    THE BUG ROCKS!!!!!!!

Well I have stopped buying stuff for cars I don't own. Is that a step in the right or wrong direction?

Wait a minute. Where's the Turbocharged Corvair/Spyder Engine you 'were' going to swap in ;D? I don't see it anywhere in the pics ;D :D......`J/W-006.

Just type "VW Beetle engine" in to Google images, lots of hits.

Hey, that animation of the motor doesn't show any oil dripping. ;D ;D

              That's harsh, Tony.

              Harsh but true unfortunately. :D

Nor does it show the driver freezing his ass off in the winter.

(unless he has the optional gas powered heater running...and that's a whole different set of jokes ;))

Cool project. Don't know much about them but i guy I worked with back in 79 had one with the Viceroy cigarette add on it that would out run anything around out of the hole.
