    Re: Remy-Z's '73 Chevelle

I'd build the blue car. It looks pretty good and I'm guessing any bits could be swapped from your current ride to the blue one. Of course, look it over carefully but it looks like a better deal to me. Even if the blue car needs floors or some such, it's still easier than fixing that top, and it'll stay fixed. I know this may result in lots of parts swapping but I seriously think you'll be time and money ahead.

The blue car was crushed before I had a chance, Dan.

I still haven't heard back from the owner of the '74.

I agree, for under $150 it could be alright, but I have space issues (I'm already renting garage space 40mi away because I don't have space here), nevermind Miss Remy going absolutely ballistic because I brought home another car. She just shot down a $500 '79 LeBaron that runs, drives, and passes smog (unnecessarily!) simply because I've got too many cars.
      Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
