It?s been home a couple of days now and the biggest fight so far was with the windows, getting them onto the mechanism and making them open and close right.
Could?nt use rivets as per original, no room for my rivet gun so I twisted my arms up using bolts and lotsa loctite.

Lookin' good. I'm always interested to see the differences in the equipment in other lands (like the booth) - and the similarities. Looks pretty much like a booth here.

I bought weather stripping for the doors from Summit made by SuperSoft,
soft they ain?t, I can only shut the doors with a hefty slam and I don?t like it.
The seals on the doors are spongy but too firm, do not have an air cavity with
air outlets to let it collapse.
Back to Summit for some SoftSeal weatherstripping.

Today I spray glued material to the top of the headliner, stiffen it up and give
me some insulation.
Next up are the door panels, the weather stripping on the inside will be replaced.

Car looks awesome. I think the silver looks great.

How about wet look silver ? ;D

Just got caught out while cleaning the interior, big downpour.


BTW, I need clips to hold the trim inside "over the door and down A pillar".


Anyone got some left overs ?

Thanks guys, it?s clean but funnily enough there is a 3rd gen Pontiac just down the road from me that?s squeeky clean.
His is totally stock and he?s stuck with it like that as it was imported directly into Spain from the States.
Mine came via England and I got it inspected for importation.
Left me an aweful lot of leeway. ;D

One day when the guy?s not so bloody busy I?ll shoot pics of the Pontiac.
