shocks have vastly different valving then stabilizers - I suppose you could test yours and if they go in and out equally, it'd be worth a chance trying it. The stabilizers have about 10" of travel.

They do seem to be equally valved. I briefly tried to find an application for them and failed. Granted I didn't spend hours trying, but given where they came from its very possible they ARE stabilizers and not shocks.
Anyways.
This shot is very very cool. All that work came together seemlessly from looking at this photo. Congrats.
