Bummer! I HATE that when it happens. Did you shoot epoxy primer under the top coat? That stuff seals pretty much everything and I've had great luck doing that. You can thin it a tad and it lays right down. Just a thought.
Annoying, everyone else has two colors of bedliner - I buy from the one company that has 3 shade of tan... so I had to repaint the trans cover... and noticed an issue that I'm going to have to watch (and may not be able to do anything about).... it seems to seal, then gasses bubble under the paint..... ugh, I'm not going to have the body sand blasted again so I'm going to go forward, but this is not good news
Kid that works for me was having this exact same issue with the bed liner he sprayed. It seems to bubble in some spots when it out-gasses. He was able to remove the bubbles and re-spray without any major issues. It was inconvenient but it cleaned up nicely simply due to the texture of the liner...
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
moving the air tank caused problems... which still aren't solved even after cutting this out
but moving forward, body mounts..
then onto taking doors apart so they can get sandblasted
picture so I remember how it goes back together
though, there is going to be a bit of fabrication here - remember when I said the wing-window hit the roll bar? the fix is a one-piece window, which requires combining a late door and and an early door
Huh? My excuse is being away from home and not chiming in very often. Believe you me, this build is very drool worthy, I feel like Buick over here when I stop in.
