After some fun back to the grind
      move air tank

      like this

rear brakes, along with launch control (aka hill holder), plumbed

and the body is now bolted on for good

at least until the next guy rebuilds it from the ground up...

Just a fair warning about arguing the Bible with me.... I've been annoying Bible teachers since first grade with my use and mis-use of Bible verses.

take a deep breath - I got his joke...

I may have to drive down to Foster once this beastie is done. It so impressed me - the guy I wheeled with drives his '40 all over the place, and it is a 99%er.... that is, a rig that will do 99% of the trails - it's not a specialty rig, but it's a driver that's exceptionally capable... that's my goal with this one... hop in, drive to death valley, wheel for a week, drive home... those kinds of trips.... plan on having my pop top tent on a trailer for base camping

                  so back to updates
Today was a day off (ish) - since I work for myself, days off look like days working for someone else except longer, fewer vacations, and the worry about making the bills.... but it's totally worth it if you can swing it ;)

first today was run out to a wrecking yard to get an air cleaner

what's really cool is I got a K&N Air filter with the cleaner... there will be mods necessary, but it's the important, first piece, of a snorkel.

                  assembly

                  dents successfully covered

I sprung a leak, well, I got to practice wound care after I managed to slice into the top of my thumb (through gloves)... fortunately, I was able to staunch the flow long enough so that I could finish and snap that last picture... I laugh, it seems all of my advance degrees have been mostly self-serving... my latest advance degree is Mountain-Oriented 1st aid. Basically, it's training so that if you are leading a group in the wilderness, and something bad happens, you're able to provide sufficient 1st aid up to the point where surgery would be required (no, we can't stab people, but we can sure splint the hell out of them or bind wounds )

I really like the color combo...

Man... I just spent a few minutes going back 10 pages at a time, looking for something. I found what I was looking for... but the point got lost along the way. I forgot how much work you've done to this thing! Really awesome.

                            Hmmm, I don't know
a suggestion was made that I make the front grill black. I like the idea on Heeps; but I'm not sure I'm buying in on the '40

                            booster fix

                            two more parts permanently attached

and some pedals, now I can finish plumbing the brake system
