I think it would look better body color. Maybe black out the radiator.

I vote body color on the grill. JMHO....

Let me know how the Hydroboost works with that short of a pushrod. Mine was similar and it kept binding up on me so I've got it torn down to figure out how to keep it working without putting the master cylinder in front of the axle centerline or through the inner fender (which isn't leaving).

Grill/headlight surround...... I'm a traditionalist. (Don't like non-body colored grills on Jeeps either)

Grill body color, headlight surround white. Can't go wrong.

To me its part of the FJ identity. To do anything else would be like putting square headlights on a Jeep.

My Vet has it right... his ride is cool.

I'd say your vet is full of holes - so has he had any success at getting rid of your mange?

I'd go with body color on the grill surround, black on the headlight and grill trim, brushed finish on the headlight rings and emblem...chrome don't get ya home...

Air compressor... anyone will tell you that the threads on the outlet on a a/c compressor is different then NPT.. they're right, but it's close enough that I can make it work

put a set screw in the fitting, then JB weld the fitting to the a/c fitting... should be good enough... and truly, if zombies were chasing you, I suspect that there is enough interlock there without any extra help to keep it together.... this guarantees it.

hooking up air hoses - I decided to try the heat-shrink tube clamps

                      and they work

painted the heater, installed the glove box door (after paint), put hinges on the tailgate so I can fold it down while working...

and started working on the lines for the hydroboost

then cleaned the shop... or at least organized it a bit...

are the heat shrink clamps rated for that pressure? or is that with barbed fittings?

I am wondering if the head of the compressor could have been pulled and tapped for npt threads for the fittings?

is that a check valve up against the compressor?
