Nice work! Wish my sheet metal fab skills were up to that standard (I'm noticing the limited warpage and pretty consistent welds).

I am truly impressed! I too got to use some old school fabricating techniques today at work, forming a new junction box cover of stainless...

mostly finished with the pickup/tank
there it is.... whole system
once I got it in place, I had to bend the float over to clear... no biggie, it works
did I ever mention I never got the keys with this vehicle?
there it is, I still need to seal the access then pressure test the tank to be sure there's no holes...
I still don't know what I'm going to do about the holes but I do need to make inner fenders and this is step one

Unfortunately to run the mud/snow...inner fenders are required.
Of course you could hose it off every run.. That becomes a pain..
Hate to hide the pretty guts..

I like the color combo more as it falls into place....killer rig.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower.

for the inner fenders, it's more likely that I'll use rubber

heh, no, I think I'll go a bit more upscale - semi mud flaps that I find beside the highway ;)

It ain't cheap, but it is stiffer than rubber, and holds it's shape better... we used to use it on conveyor liners at my former employer...
