So I went out and looked at the speedometer to see if it works... it doesn't - don't know why, yet... but while I was out








someone asked where my fire extinguishers were.... all over is the answer, but I'm down one now

The issue was I had two wires swapped (6 and 8) and it got the passenger side red-hot.... of course, that's the side that has the gas tank right above the muffler (yeah, could have been interesting had I not had a strong impression to fill the tank up earlier in the week)

I will put a shield there too.... but that darkening? didn't hurt the coating or the paint at all, that black came from the muffler hanger lighting on fire.

while I was at it tonight I put the turn-outs on


I'm not sure that's what I want - but it'll work for now...

now is the validation time - I have at least 2 oil leaks that need addressing; both are going to be a pain to fix; I also need to fix an exhaust leak on the driver's side....

I don't know, I haven't hooked it up yet. I presume you press once to energize the system the press and hold until started.

Do know how many wires connect to it, for it to work like that it would need +12 and then one connection to go off to the ignition and another to energise the starter.

Is it just a switch or is it part of unit like this;

exactly that.... I got it from someone else; but they all ship from the same plant in China.
