    LED lights don't have elements....

anyway, now that that's cleared up

Air cleaner, I don't like plastic and I found yet another problem that answers a few questions

someday I'll have my own roller... until then...

so this jams shut and since there's no heat riser, it makes the vehicle run rich....

it's gone now and now I have to set the timing (again)

Flatbeds of the mid 70's have a spacer that mimics an air cleaner mount top and bottom, ie: it cannot rotate because of tabs that are on the base and top.
Some have vacuum ports on them.. (PVC I believe)
Maybe El Dorados had them too..
I know I have a couple... But WHERE?
      They are cad type plated..

I was just checking to see if those were usable as marker and signal because we have flash lights at work that are dual intensity...

Silver.... I have a STREAMLIGHT flashlight.. LOVE IT!
Hi, lo, and strobe... Has notches on it for jobbing an attacker's head (self defense feature)
BUT if you drop it enough times it will break.. Takes quite a beating.. ($40 from LAPG)

LED= Light Emitting Diode.. No filiment to break..
I think maybe the wires or circuit board come apart..
            Lifetime warranty..
Mine takes 2-AA batteries and I can turn it on, stick it in my shirt pocket and carry an armload of wood in that side and still be able to see where I am going!
My go to flashlight was always the long Makita 9.6 volt. The LED Streamlight took it's place.. Easily pocketed!
If you read Barry's thread on hs pickumup, you should know he replaced almost everything with LEDs saving lots of voltage and getting brighter lights.

I need to look at my PAINLESS kit and see what I need to do to change bulbs to LEDs.. 57 lights are good for what it is.. LED will be better!..
I know at least one tail/brake socket needs replacing..

So the plan was ambitious today - not to be, power went out at 3... ugh

              got some done

                    Center console

some modification needed - Jeep TJ center console.... Chevfotoyoeep.... the Land Cruiser is silent ;)

found a better way to run the fuel line

                    - for those without sense of humor and trolls - that's a joke. I'm replacing the stainless line with hard line

                    worked on the brush guard

so I got a bit done on this most were pointless to take pictures.... but a touch of wiring did get accomplished.
                                a wire was run

                                a waterproof connector installed

and an hour was spent.... yeah, these things are no fun to create.

but at least the hard part was done
